3. Collection, Processing and Disclosure of Personal Data

We process the personal data that you actively provide to us, for example via the contact form. This includes in particular:

• Name, email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Student ID Number
• Text message / inquiry
• Uploaded documents (e.g. university admission confirmations)

Purpose: Processing your inquiry, providing information about our courses, and organizing course administration.

When you register for the Vorstudienlehrgang der Wiener Universitäten (VWU), your personal data will be passed on to both the Vienna Universities and the VWU, insofar as this is necessary for organisational purposes. The VWU is run by OeAD-GmbH – Agency for Education and Internationalisation, Ebendorferstraße 7, 1010 Vienna (OeAD), in cooperation with the Vienna Universities. The Vienna Universities, which have commissioned the OeAD as a processor to carry out the programme, are jointly responsible for data processing.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) and Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract).

4. Contact Form and Document Upload

The data you provide in the contact form and the documents you upload are stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your explicit consent.

Storage period: Data will be deleted once the purpose has been fulfilled, but no later than six months after the end of communication, unless a statutory retention obligation applies.

5. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to ensure basic functionality and to optimize the display.

• Technically necessary cookies: Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
• Analytics cookies (Matomo): Used only with your consent (via cookie banner).

We use Matomo to anonymously analyse the use of our website. IP addresses are anonymized before storage. Processing takes place exclusively on our own server.

7. Google Maps

To display our course location, we use Google Maps. In this context, data (e.g. IP address) may be transmitted to Google.
